With this unprecedented communication campaign, Campus France is giving a voice to those who have chosen France for their studies, to promote the excellence of French educational institutions and their courses around the world. Supported by the Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs and Higher Education, Research and Innovation, it promotes an open, and enterprising France at the centre of Europe, which attracts talents from all over the world to its various excellent courses and wants to make it known.

Campus France Ireland, your local team, is here to help you with any project to stay in France during your studies. To do so, we have moved our office, or as we like to call it "Espace" to a new room in the Alliance Française Dublin: the room Françoise Henry. Françoise Henry was a renown French researcher, specialist of the Book of Kells and founder of the department of History of the Arts at Trinity College Dublin.

Come and discover this new Espace by yourself any day of the week or on Wednesdays from 4.30 to 6.30pm if you want individual advice on your project.

This festive evening was also the perfect occasion to announce the creation of 7 grants for high level researchers (PhD students, postdoc and confirmed researchers). These grants will cover 1 month stays in France from May to November 2020. The call for applications will open in January 2020 on the France Alumni Ireland website. Join the France Alumni network to stay tuned and apply.

Did you know that the CNRS, the French National Centre for Scientific Research, was founded in October 1939 and celebrates this year its 80th anniversary? An exhibition has been created for this anniversary and showcased in the room Françoise Henry until early 2020.

To learn more about the CNRS and the exhibition, visit their new international website.

Finally, we would like to thank all our guests, colleagues and partners for this great evening and we hope to see you soon in the room Françoise Henry at 1 Kildare Street!
